Sorority Row

Publicat de Zecatmeister

Run by Mrs. Crenshaw, the college sorority, Theta Pi, is home to seniors and best friends Jessica, Cassidy, Ellie, Claire, Chugs and Megan who, despite Mrs. Crenshaw's best efforts, constantly throw wild parties. During one of these parties Megan discovers her boyfriend Garrett is cheating on her and, with her friends' help, decides to pull a prank on him as payback, faking her own death while making out with Garrett. With help from the sisters Garrett brings Megan to a steel mill and plan on dumping her body down a mineshaft, where Garrett, after the sisters (jokingly) mention they need to release the air out of her lungs so her body won't rise to the top, stabs Megan with a lug wrench, actually killing her. Panicking, the group dumps Megan's body in an old mineshaft, vowing never to speak of the events that transpired ever again.

Eight months later, during the party held after graduation, the girls all receive a picture sent to their phones: a hooded figure holding the bloody wrench Garret used to kill Megan. As the girls become increasingly worried, Chugs reveals that after the incident, Garrett has been seeing a therapist and has developed a weird sense of humor. Jessica takes lead and insists it is merely a prank by him and they continue with the party. Megan's sister Maggie also arrives, wanting to honor her sister's memory by attending the party. Chugs leaves the party to go to her therapist appointment. While she is there, not knowing that her therapist was killed, lies down and drinks champagne. As she tilts her head back to let the champagne flow down her throat, the killer appears and shoves the bottle down her throat before slitting it with the lug wrench, which now has blades attached to it.

Shortly after sorority girl Joanna is killed in the shower after hearing about Megan's death. Ellie finds Cassidy's blood-stained jacket, which the group had wrapped Megan's body in before dropping her into the shaft. The girls regroup and all receive a text message containing a clip of Megan's death and a message telling them to go to the mineshaft. Driving to the shaft the girls find Garrett. Thinking the obviously delusional Garrett is the one stalking them Jessica runs him over when he tries to attack Cassidy with a mirror shard, discovering afterward Garrett has been receiving the same messages they have, proving he is not the killer. After the girls return to the now empty sorority house, they receive a text message from Chug's cell phone, telling them that she is dead. And Claire is dragged into the hot tub and shot in the mouth with a flare gun, and Mrs. Crenshaw is impaled, leaving only Jessica, Cassidy, Ellie and Maggie.

While Maggie becomes trapped when the killer sets the room she is in on fire with a Molotov cocktail Cassidy and Jessica look around (while Ellie hides upstairs) and run into Kyle, Jessica's boyfriend, who injures Jessica after getting into a fight with her, just before being killed by Cassidy's boyfriend Andy. Revealed to be the killer Andy. Jessica tries to reason with Andy, but is interrupted when Andy kills her by stabbing her in the mouth, and ironically says "That girl really needs to keep her mouth shut." He then tells Cassidy that he just wanted to help her, killing everyone who knew about her involvement in Megan's death so they could never tell anyone else and reveal she was involved. Playing along with her crazed boyfriend Cassidy tells Andy that Ellie is in the basement and while Andy goes to look for her Cassidy fetches Ellie from upstairs and they try to run, but are attacked by Andy. Telling Ellie to flee Cassidy hits Andy with a lamp and tries to escape but, while trying to help Maggie out of the burning house, is attacked by the recovered Andy, who leaves her dangling from a hole in the floor. As Andy prepares to finish Cassidy off Ellie appears and blasts him with Mrs. Crenshaw's shotgun. With Andy dead Ellie pulls Cassidy back up and the two save Maggie before fleeing from the house.

15 months later, Theta Pi is being renovated from the fire and Maggie is now a Theta sister. As the girls sing the Theta Pi song, a figure with a scarred wrist is seen holding the lug wrench, setting up a possible sequel with Garrett as the killer.

Yes Man

Publicat de Zecatmeister

Los Angeles bank employee Carl Allen (Jim Carrey) has become withdrawn and depressed since his divorce from his wife Stephanie (Molly Sims). Routinely ignoring his friends, he has grown used to spending his spare time watching DVDs alone in his apartment and his outlook on life has become inherently negative. But when an old friend (John Michael Higgins) persuades him to attend the "Yes!" self-improvement seminar, stern motivational guru Terrence Bundley (Terence Stamp) publicly browbeats him into making a covenant with himself. Carl reluctantly promises to stop being a "No Man" and vows to answer "Yes!" to every opportunity, request or invitation that presents itself thereafter.

After the seminar, saying "yes" to a homeless man's requests only leaves Carl stranded in Elysian Park with his phone battery dead, no money, and his gas tank empty. Disillusioned, he hikes to a gas station, cursing himself for being so credulous and gullible. But at the gas station he meets Allison (Zooey Deschanel), an eccentric young woman who is refueling her scooter. She gives him a hair-raising ride back to his car, and spontaneously kisses him before she rides off.

After this experience, Carl adopts a positive mentality and seizes every opportunity that comes his way. He takes flying lessons, receives oral sex from his elderly neighbor (albeit reluctantly) after an incident that occurs when he says no to it, attends Korean language classes, learns to play the guitar, and even joins a Persian dating website after he receives a pop-up on one of his computers. Saying "yes" constantly works to Carl's advantage. After accepting concert tickets from a promoter whom he has previously ignored, he sees an idiosyncratic band whose lead singer turns out to be Allison. He is charmed by her quirkiness; she is charmed by his spontaneity; and the two begin dating. He earns a promotion at work after his many approved loans open new territory for the bank in the area of microcredit. Making use of his guitar lessons, he wins public acclaim by playing Third Eye Blind's song "Jumper" to persuade a man (Luis Guzman) not to commit suicide by jumping off a ledge.

As their relationship blossoms, Carl and Allison meet at the airport for a spontaneous weekend excursion. Having decided to take the first plane out of town, no matter where its destination, they end up in Lincoln, Nebraska, where they explore the Frank H. Woods Telephone Museum, attend a college football game, and go skeet shooting. As they shelter from the rain in an isolated barn, Allison asks Carl to move in with her and he hesitantly agrees. But while checking in for the return flight, Carl is detained by FBI agents, who have profiled him as a potential terrorist because he has taken flying lessons, studied Korean, approved a loan to a fertilizer company, met an Iranian mail-order bride, and bought plane tickets at the last minute to a destination that they believe to be an unlikely holiday destination.

Carl's lawyer and best friend Pete travels to Nebraska to explain Carl's odd habits, lessons, and decisions. As Allison finds out about Carl's motivational covenant, she begins to doubt whether his commitment to her was ever sincere. Deciding that she can no longer trust a man who is obliged always to respond in the affirmative, regardless of his true feelings, she leaves Carl at the airport after the officer unlocks her handcuffs.

Soon afterward, Carl receives a tearful phone call from his ex-wife whose new partner has walked out on her. When Carl goes to Stephanie's apartment to comfort her, she kisses him passionately and asks whether they can get back together. After Carl emphatically says "no," his luck again takes a turn for the worse. The elevator in which he tries to leave Stephanie's building almost snaps free of its cable, a black cat crosses his path, and his car gets clamped and towed.

In desperation, Carl goes to the convention center where the "Yes!" seminar is held, and hides in the backseat of Bundley's convertible so that he can beg to be released from the covenant. Carl emerges as Bundley drives off, startling him to run a red light and collide with an oncoming vehicle. The two are taken to hospital. After Carl recovers consciousness, Bundley informs Carl that there was no "covenant." The point was merely to open Carl's mind to other possibilities, but not to take away his ability to say "no" if he needed to.

Freed from this restraint, Carl leaves the hospital on a Ducati Hypermotard motorcycle, wearing only a hospital gown. He finds Allison and admits that he does not want to move in with her just yet, but tells her that she inspired him, and genuinely loves and wants her — and has not been with her just because he has been compelled to say "yes". The couple share a few kisses, occasionally interrupted by another photographer snapping pics.

At the end of the movie, Carl and Allison are seen donating a truckload of clothes to a local homeless shelter. Cutting to the scene of the "Yes!" seminar, Bundley is seen walking onstage to several hundred naked audience members. It is implied that the participants have said "Yes!" to donating their clothes to charity.
After some credits, a scene shows Carl and Allison on a long stretch of winding highway. Carl has agreed to test the product of one of the people whom he gave a loan. Both are wearing a full body suit with wheels on the elbows, calves, heels, feet, back, and various other strategically placed body parts, which is what the man invented for better extreme sports. They both "skate" all the way down the highway.

Terminator Salvation

Publicat de Zecatmeister

In 2003, Dr. Serena Kogan (Helena Bonham Carter) of Cyberdyne Systems convinces death row inmate Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington) to sign his body over for medical research following his execution by lethal injection. One year later, the Skynet system is activated, perceives humans as a threat to its own existence, and eradicates much of humanity in the event known as Judgment Day (see Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines). In 2018, John Connor (Christian Bale) leads an attack by the Resistance on a Skynet base. John discovers human prisoners and plans for the development of a new type of Terminator incorporating living tissue, but is the only apparent survivor of the attack after the base is destroyed in a nuclear explosion. However, Marcus emerges from the wreckage of the base and proceeds on foot to Los Angeles.

John returns to Resistance headquarters located aboard a nuclear submarine and tells General Ashdown (Michael Ironside), the current leader, of his discovery. Meanwhile, the Resistance has discovered a radio frequency believed to be capable of shutting down Skynet machines. They plan to launch an offensive against the Skynet base in San Francisco in four days, in response to an intercepted "kill list" indicating that Skynet plans to kill the Resistance's command staff in four days' time. John learns that his own name is second on the list, following Kyle Reese. The Resistance leaders are unaware of Kyle's importance to Skynet, but John knows that it is because Kyle will later become his father (see The Terminator). John meets with his officer Barnes (Common) and wife Kate (Bryce Dallas Howard) and sends radio broadcasts to Resistance members and surviving civilians around the world.
Arriving in the ruins of Los Angeles, Marcus is saved from a T-600 Terminator by Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin) and his mute companion Star (Jadagrace Berry). Kyle relates to Marcus the events of Judgment Day and the ensuing war between humans and machines. Hearing John's radio broadcast, the three leave Los Angeles in search of the Resistance. They survive an attack by machines, but Kyle, Star, and several other humans are taken prisoner, while a pair of Resistance A-10s are shot down. Marcus locates downed pilot Blair Williams (Moon Bloodgood) and they make their way to John's base, but Marcus is wounded by a magnetic land mine. Attempting to save his life, the Resistance fighters discover that he is in fact a cyborg with human organs, a mechanical endoskeleton, circuitry, and a partially artificial cerebral cortex. Marcus believes himself to be human, demanding to be released so that he can save Kyle from Skynet, but John believes that Marcus has come to kill him and orders his destruction. However, Blair releases him and helps him to escape from the base. During the resulting pursuit Marcus saves John's life from Skynet hydrobots, and the two form an alliance—Marcus will enter Skynet's headquarters and attempt to disable its defenses so that John can rescue Kyle.

John demands that Ashdown delay the attack so that he can rescue Kyle and the other prisoners, but Ashdown refuses and relieves John of his command. However, John's soldiers remain loyal to him and obey his command not to attack the Skynet base. Meanwhile, Marcus enters the base and interfaces with the computer, disabling the perimeter defenses and allowing John to infiltrate the cell block and release the human prisoners. The Resistance's disabling signal is revealed to be a ruse, and the command submarine with the Resistance leaders aboard is destroyed by a Hunter-Killer.

Marcus discovers that he was created by Skynet and has unwittingly fulfilled his programmed mission to lure John into the base to be killed. He tears out the hardware linking him to Skynet and leaves to assist John in battling a T-800 model 101 Terminator. John is mortally wounded during the fight, but succeeds in destroying the Skynet base by rigging several Terminator hydrogen fuel cells to an explosive, detonating them as he, Marcus, Kyle, and Star are airlifted out. Kate attempts to save John's life, but his heart is too damaged. Marcus offers his own heart for transplant, sacrificing himself to save John. Recovering, John radios to the other Resistance fighters that though this battle has been won, the war is far from over.

G-Force

The film revolves around an special FBI organization of trained secret agent animals, equipped with advanced tools including an advanced earpiece that allows the mammalian members to talk to humans. In addition to a team of cockroaches, the primary field team consists of guinea pigs Darwin (Sam Rockwell) (team leader), Juarez (Penelope Cruz) (martial arts), Blaster (Tracy Morgan) (weapons/transportation), star-nosed mole Speckles (Nicolas Cage) (cyber intelligence), and fly Mooch (reconnaissance) (Dee Bradley Baker). Hoping to impress his superiors on the eve of a budgetary review, the unit's leader, Ben (Zach Galifinakis), orders an unauthorized infiltration of the residence of home electronics and appliances magnate, Leonard Saber, who has been under FBI investigation for years. The team is able to successfully retrieve considerable sensitive information about a sinister scheme that is set to occur in 29 hours. However, when Ben's superior arrives for his evaluation, his astonishment at the team's capabilities and technology is overcome by his indignation at Ben's unauthorized mission and the fact that the downloaded intelligence appears to be useless information about Saber's coffee makers. As a result, the government agent orders the unit shut down, the equipment seized and the animals to be used as experimental subjects to be killed as security risks. With the help of their human compatriots, Darwin, Juarez, Blaster, Mooch, and Speckles escape with hopes of stopping Saber's scheme, but find themselves in a pet carrying case bound for a pet shop.

Now trapped in the store's pet rodent display case, G-Force meets Hurley (Jon Favreau), a gluttonous guinea pig, Bucky (Steve Buscemi) an irascible hamster and three sycophantic mice. Although Blaster and Juarez manage to get themselves sold to a family with plans to return to extract their comrades, Speckles' own attempt to escape by playing dead ends disastrously when he is thrown into and apparently crushed in a garbage truck. Meanwhile, Mooch manages to return to Ben to tell him where his mammalian agents are, but Darwin escapes (with Hurley, who is convinced that Darwin is his brother, tagging along) before he can arrive to collect them.

While Blaster and Juarez escape their new owners to return to Ben, he and his partner discover that the discredited intel has a destructive computer function that apparently hid the scheme. At this time, Darwin and Hurley make their own way to their superior. On route, Darwin sees a Saber coffeemaker and decides to investigate it, but his examination of the machine makes it come alive as a dangerous fighting robot that he and Hurley are barely able to defeat. Now with his suspicions vindicated, Darwin and Hurley transport the wreckage to Ben. However, upon arrival, Ben has lost all confidence in his team and confesses the shattering information that they are not special genetically enhanced animals as previously told, but ordinary ones Ben took in and trained for the team. However, Hurley lifts them from their despair by reminding the team of the astounding feats he has seen them do and the fact that they obviously made themselves extraordinary on their own.

Emboldened but with little time to stop the scheme, Ben provides the field team with the means to infiltrate the Saber residence and plant a virus in the computer mainframe. Unfortunately, FBI agents are ordered to capture the animals dead or alive, forcing the team to elude them with an extended pursuit thanks to a high speed vehicle especially designed for them. After that is accomplished and the team infiltrates Saber's mainframe, the plan is put into motion, and the resulting battle separates the group, only leaving Darwin to take the mainframe down. At the same time, Leonard Saber is shocked to discover that his appliances have become killing machines, expecting them to simply be able to effectively communicate with each other, while FBI takes advantage of this obvious pretext to finally openly move against the industrialist. When Darwin reaches the mainframe, he finds out that Speckles, whose home and family had been destroyed by humans, is the mastermind of the plan, whose masterstroke is to cause a massive planetwide bombardment of space junk pulled from orbit to make the planet surface uninhabitable. Speckles promptly amalgamates the various appliances in the vicinity into a giant walking being, which, combined with a localized bombardment of orbital debris, soon overpowers the police forces gathered at the mansion. Darwin manages to persuade Speckles that his new family is with the rest of the team and Ben, who had taken them all in. Speckles consents, and tries to shut it down, but realizes that it has gone too far. However, Darwin uses the computer virus on his PDA to take it down.

At the end of the film, the guinea pigs are personally commended by the FBI Director who also appoints them special agents of the FBI. Furthermore, G-Force is reinstated as a unit of the Bureau and expanded with Hurley, Bucky and the mice inducted as new recruits. Meanwhile, Saber makes the largest product recall in history, and Speckles is given the punitive duty of personally removing the malicious chips from all Saber products, which number in the tens of thousands.

A Perfect Getaway

Publicat de Zecatmeister

An adventurous young couple, Cliff and Cydney are celebrating their honeymoon by hiking to a remote beach in Hawaii. The couple comes across two hitchhikers, Cleo and Kale, and a group of frightened hikers discussing a double murder in Honolulu of another newlywed couple on the island, with the victims having their teeth pulled out, and they begin to question whether they should turn back.

Unsure whether to stay or flee, Cliff and Cydney join up with another couple, Nick, who claims to have a titanium plate in his head and be a former special forces operative, and his longtime girlfriend, Gina, a former butcher. Far from civilization or rescue, everyone begins to look like a threat and nobody knows whom to trust. Gina and Cydney swap personal stories, and Cydney tells Gina about Rocky, a former lover who murdered a neighbor's dog and displayed the corpse while the two were having sex and threatened to kill her if she ever told. Eventually the two couples spy a police helicopter arresting Cleo and Kale, and a search of Kale's bag reveals a Dentyne Ice box full of human teeth. Gina and Cydney reveal that each thought that the others were the killers, and the group continues to the beach.

After Cliff and Nick go kayaking to a nearby cove, Gina begins going through the other couple's wedding video, she inserts a memory card with a separate set of photos on and finds a shot that reveals that Cliff and Cydney are impostors. A series of flashbacks reveal that Cliff and Cydney are the killers, and have been killing people and then stealing their identities by ingratiating themselves with other couples while on vacation to learn their personal histories, mannerisms, and speech patterns. They killed the newlyweds from the wedding video and changed their appearances to look like them. We learn Cliff, revealed to be Rocky from Cydney's story, has been killing newlywed couples ever since he murdered the dog. Cydney, who was forced and eventually enjoyed participating in the murders, and Cliff learned more about their victims from all their friends and family talking about them in the wedding video. Earlier, Cliff planted the teeth in Cleo’s bag to frame both her and Kale.

Gina winds up on the top of the cave and sees Nick & Cliff below. Cliff shoots Nick in the back of the head, causing him to capsize. Cliff shoots at Gina but misses. Cydney fights Gina, but Cydney is thrown down and lands in the water. Gina runs and tries to call for help, but fails, and is nearly caught by Rocky before stabbing him through the hand with Cydney's knife. Gina runs, encountering another group of hikers looking for the stolen kayaks. Rocky attempts to convince the group that Gina is a crystal meth addict, and is having a delusional episode. His act seems convincing until one of the hikers, an EMT, points out that Rocky, not Gina, appears stoned, and Rocky shoots the entire group.

Meanwhile, Nick, having been saved by his titanium skull plate and hiding in the air pocket under the kayak, wakes up in the cave and goes to save Gina. Nick attacks Rocky, splitting his hand in half with a hatchet. Meanwhile, Cydney flags down a police helicopter. After nearly killing Rocky with the killer's .45 pistol, Gina jumps in the way of a police sniper and convinces Nick to drop the weapon, and the two embrace. Cydney sees Nick and Gina together and decides she will not go to prison for Rocky. She realizes how much she has changed for the worse, calling him, "The guy that fucked up my life." Cyndey informs the cops that the real killer is Cliff, and points out that he’s going for the gun while Nick and Gina have their backs to him. A sniper sees this and shoots Cliff in the forehead, killing him. It is unknown whether Cydney herself was arrested.

Gina and Nick are in the helicopter, and Nick proposes to Gina. After accepting, both suggest in unison to have no honeymoon.

Transformers 2 Revenge of the Fallen

Publicat de Zecatmeister

It is revealed that thousands of years ago there was a race of ancient Transformers who scoured the universe looking for energon sources. Known as the Dynasty of Primes, they used machines called Sun Harvesters to drain stars of their energy in order to convert it to energon and power Cybertron's AllSpark. The Primes agreed that life-bearing worlds would be spared, but in 17,000 BC, one brother, thereafter dubbed "The Fallen", constructed a Sun Harvester on Earth. The remaining brothers thus sacrificed their bodies in order to hide the Matrix of Leadership—the key that activates the Sun Harvester—from The Fallen, who swore to seek revenge upon Earth.

In the present day, two years after the events of the previous film, Optimus is seen leading NEST, a military organization consisting of human troops and his own team of Autobots (including newcomers Arcee, Chromia, Elita One, Sideswipe, Jolt, and the twins Skids and Mudflap) aimed at killing the remaining Decepticons on Earth. While on a mission in Shanghai, Optimus and his team destroy Decepticons Sideways and Demolishor, being given a warning by the latter that "The Fallen will rise again". Back in the United States, Sam Witwicky finds a splinter of the destroyed AllSpark, and upon contact the splinter fills his mind with Cybertronian symbols. Deeming it dangerous, Sam gives the AllSpark splinter to his girlfriend Mikaela Banes for safe keeping, and leaves her and Bumblebee behind to go off to college. Upon arrival, Sam meets his college roommate Leo Spitz, who runs an alien conspiracy website, and Alice, a co-ed who makes sexual advances on him. Back home, Decepticon Wheelie tries to steal the shard, only to get captured by Mikaela. After having a mental breakdown, uncontrollably writing in Cybertronian language, Sam calls Mikaela, who immediately leaves to get to him.

Decepticon Soundwave hacks into a US satellite and learns the locations of the dead Decepticon leader Megatron and another piece of the AllSpark. The Decepticons retrieve the shard and use it to resurrect Megatron, who flies into space and is reunited with Starscream and his master, The Fallen. The Fallen instructs Megatron and Starscream to capture Sam in order to discover the location of the Matrix of Leadership. With Sam's outbreaks worsening, Mikaela arrives at campus just as Alice—revealed to be a Decepticon Pretender—attacks Sam. Mikaela, Sam, and his roommate Leo drive off, destroying Alice, but are seized by Decepticon Grindor. The Decepticon known as "The Doctor" prepares to remove Sam's brain, but Optimus and Bumblebee turn up and rescue him. In an ensuing fight, Optimus engages Megatron, Grindor and Starscream. Optimus manages to kill Grindor and rip off Starscream's arm, but he is eventually impaled through the chest by Megatron and dies.

After Prime's death, The Fallen is freed from his captivity and Megatron orders a full-scale assault on the planet. The Fallen speaks to the world and demands they surrender Sam to the Decepticons or they will continue their attack. Sam, Mikaela, Leo, Bumblebee, the twins and Wheelie regroup, and Leo suggests his online rival "RoboWarrior" may be of assistance. "RoboWarrior" is revealed to be former Sector 7 agent Simmons, who informs the group that the symbols should be readable for a Decepticon. Mikaela then releases Wheelie, who can't read the language, but identifying it as that of the Primes, directs the group to a Decepticon seeker named Jetfire. They then find Jetfire at the F. Udvar-Hazy Center and reactivate him. After teleporting the group to Egypt, Jetfire explains that and only a Prime can kill The Fallen, and translates the symbols, which contain a riddle that sets the location of the Matrix of Leadership somewhere in the surrounding desert. By following the clues, the group arrive at the tomb where they ultimately find the Matrix, but it crumbles to dust in Sam's hands. Believing the Matrix can still revive Optimus, Sam collects the dust and instructs Simmons to call Major William Lennox to bring the other Autobots and Optimus' body.

The military arrives with the Autobots, but so do the Decepticons, and a battle arises. During the fight, Decepticon Devastator is formed and unearths the Sun Harvester from inside one of the pyramids before being destroyed by the US military with the help of agent Simmons. Jetfire arrives and destroys Mixmaster, but is mortally wounded by Scorponok. The Air Force carpet bomb the Decepticons, but Megatron breaks through the offensive and kills Sam. In a vision, Sam meets with the other Primes, who tell him that the Matrix of Leadership is not found but earned, which Sam has done, and send him back, effectively reviving him. The Matrix is reassembled from the dust, and Sam uses it to revive Optimus. The Fallen then steals the Matrix and activates the Sun Harvester. In his final moments, Jetfire volunteers his parts and spark to Optimus. With enhanced capabilities, Optimus destroys the Sun Harvester and takes on Megatron and The Fallen, killing the latter. Sam then finally reciprocates Mikaela's love as Megatron and Starscream retreat and vow that their fight is not finished.

The film ends with Optimus sending a message into space saying that the humans and Transformers both share a common past.

The Final Destination

Publicat de Zecatmeister

While watching a race at McKinley Speedway, Nick O'Bannon (Bobby Campo) has a premonition of a car crash which kills almost everyone. In a panic, Nick convinces his girlfriend Lori Milligan (Shantel VanSanten), and friends Hunt Wynorski (Nick Zano) and Janet Cunnigham (Haley Webb) to leave, with the quartet being followed by a handful of others who become angry with Nick after he pushes past them to escape. As everyone begins to argue outside, the catastrophe Nick had foreseen occurs. After a memorial service at McKinley Speedway, two of the spectators who followed Nick and his friends out of the stadium, died violently in freak accidents.

Hearing about spectators deaths on the news, Nick and Lori begin doing research, and learn about the disasters that occurred in the previous three films (the explosion of Flight 180, highway pile-up of Route 23, and roller coaster derailment in McKinley, Pennsylvania) and discover that the survivors (who were saved by premonitions) began dying in a series of improbable accidents shortly afterwards. Nick and Lori realize that they must race against time to save the survivors while trying to cheat Death once more.

The Hangover

Publicat de Zecatmeister

Two days before his wedding, Doug and his three friends drive to Las Vegas for a blow-out bachelor party they'll never forget. But, in fact, when the three groomsmen wake up the next morning, they can't remember a thing. For some reason, they find a tiger in the bathroom and a six-month-old baby in the closet of their suite at Caesars Palace. The one thing they can't find is Doug. With no clue as to what transpired and little time to spare, the trio must retrace their hazy steps and all their bad decisions in order to figure out where things went wrong and hopefully get Doug back to L.A. in time to walk down the aisle.

Hangover Soundtrack

First of all, The Hangover is hysterical. Second, the music perfectly suits a crazy weekend in Vegas. Here are all 21 songs from the movie, with notes on the scenes they were in.

You absolutely must see this movie. In fact, if you are in the DC area, ping me, and I will see it over and over again. And I have a feeling the more times I see it, the funnier it is going to get. This is Old School but Vegas style. It isn’t a film you go see on Saturday afternoon. Grab some friends and a couple beers, get your tickets early and then see the late show.

The soundtrack to the movie includes some great music too, from Kanye, T.I. and Flo Rida, to The Donnas, Wolfmother and Mickey Avalon. You can’t miss Ed Helms’ singing Stu’s Song to missing Doug and the rabid tiger either. So good.

  • Opening song – It’s Now Or Never by El Vez

  • Opening credits – Thirteen by Danzig

  • Driving to Vegas – Take It Off by The Donnas

  • Arrive in Vegas – Can’t Tell Me Nothing by Kanye West

  • Room at Caesar’s Palace – Live Your Life by T.I.

  • Walking to elevator – Who Let The Dogs Out by Baha Men

  • Sunrise – Yeah! by Usher and Lil Jon

  • Morning – Fever by The Cramps

  • Poolside – What Do You Say? by Mickey Avalon (not released yet).

  • (note: there is some disagreement about which Mickey Avalon song is in the movie. See note below for more details)**

  • Chapel – Wedding Bells (Are Breaking Up That Old Gang Of Mine) by Gene Vincent And His Blue Caps

  • Mike Tyson – In The Air Tonight by Phil Collins

  • Playing piano – Stu’s Song by Ed Helms

  • Riding in car with the tiger – Rhythm And Booze by Treat Her Right

  • Looking for the man purse in the hotel – Grandma’s Hands by Bill Withers (Thank you Mark for answering in the comments)

  • Escalator as Rain Man – Iko Iko by The Belle Stars

  • Counting cards – Joker And The Thief by Wolfmother

  • Singing in the car driving to desert – Three Best Friends by Zach Galifianakis

  • Drive back home – Ride The Sky II by Revolution Mother

  • First reception song – Candy Shop by Dan Finnerty

  • Second reception song – Fame by The Dan Band

  • End credits – Right Round by Flo Rida

War3 FT Tips & Tricks

Publicat de Zecatmeister

As any other good strategy game, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne has a bend to the dark side, where multiplayer clashes result in a battle of egos, skill and tactics. One must fall and once the basics are learned, most players will jump into the fray. Come what it may? Battle.net used to be a ruthless environment where only the strong survived to show off their high levels and impressive unlockable character icons. The side effect is that many completely forgot about the old style gaming, where the single player experience was of paramount importance. It is there you can properly enjoy the Warcraft lore, be amazed by the characters Blizzard built up, immersive music and voice acting that will set your imagination aflame. So here is a round of hints to help you get the most out of this brilliant game.

Hidden items

Destroy huts, tents, homes and pretty much anything you can force attack by pressing the default "A" key while having your troops selected. Some structures will have hidden items such as Scroll of Town Portal, Potion of Mana, scrolls and
runes of health, mana or speed. While it was a chore to find them all when I first
played Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, I eventually learnt the pattern and got some really nice buffs to help me on my journey. So get your boost or pick them up for later use.

Warcraft III - Frozen Throne Warcraft 3 reference

In the first Undead mission, King Arthas, you can find Little Timmy from the original Warcraft 3. He is in the woods, left of the town which is northwest of the three Altars. Little Timmy will sell you some Ice Shards, which are useful both later in the game and the campaign.

Warcraft III - Frozen Throne BloodFeast the Abomination and the Zombie Master

On the Undead mission, The Flight From Lordaeron, you can re-summon a Zombie Master and BloodFeast the Abomination near the end. On this mission you find a Staff of Animate somewhere (not hidden). You will find a room with Necromancers summoning something, and a few enemies such as Ghouls and Crypt Fiends. Kill them, then go on the pile of where the Necromancers were summoning and use the Staff to summon a Zombie Master for sixty seconds to help you fight. BloodFeast the Abomination can be summoned the same way.

Warcraft III - Frozen Throne Grank the Rat

In the fourth Night Elf mission, Wrath Of The Betrayer, at the top left side of the map is a small garden and a fountain that only Maiev can visit. Use your Blink-spell to get to it. In there, you can find a rat with the name "Grank the Rat", which has 100% Evasion and Spell Immunity. Therefore, you cannot kill it.

Warcraft III - Frozen Throne Giant Penguin

In the fourth Undead mission, The Return To Nothrend, you will find a giant penguin in the left corner of the island that you started on. Kill the guarding sea lions and destroy the tent so you can approach it. Then, kill the penguin itself. You will get a Ring Of Superiority. A normal penguin will spawn next to it. You can kill it, but it will not give you anything more.

Warcraft III - Frozen Throne Diablo reference

In the last Human mission, Lord of the Outland, where you need to assault the Lord's castle, you can find the Butcher and Wirt's other leg (from Diablo) just northwest of where you start. The Butcher will also say the same sentence that he did in Diablo: "Fresh meat".
Warcraft III - Frozen Throne The Pandaren Brewmaster Level

Play the Night Elf mission where you have to escort the runner. In the lower left corner in the very back of the map is a Pandarean relaxation area. A Brewmaster is here. He will spout some gibberish and drop Slippers of Agility.

Warcraft III - Frozen Throne Secret tower level

Once you escape prison with the Elves, during the third Human Campaign mission, there is an entrance to a secret level. There is a winding corridor with several rooms about the horizontal center of the map. Go inside and get the power-ups and equipment, then look closely to find a room. You'll need to bust through a door to reach it, the one with three different colored sheep surrounded by energy. Notice the three panels. When they are pushed, the corresponding sheep will say either "Bah", "Ram" or "Ewe" so time your steps in such a fashion that sheep will say: Bah, Ram, Ewe. The correct order will open up a door to the secret tower defense level, ready for you to enjoy once the mission is completed. Successfully win all the levels in the "Secret tower level" to see a picture of the Drunken Panda along with what seems to be his daughter. Then in the next chapter, you can use him to help.
